Terms of Service

Welcome to DropPilot. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME] (“DropPilot”, “we”, “us”) that governs your access to and use of the DropPilot website and services (the “Service”). By signing in to or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About DropPilot

DropPilot is a Fortnite landing and drop assistant. You choose a landing spot (including spots from dropmaps published by community creators called “DropMakers”), set the Battle Bus path on the map, and the calculator estimates when to leave the bus, where to open the first glider, how to manage free fall, and where the second glider opens (at 100 m).

DropPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite is a trademark of Epic Games, Inc. All other names and marks belong to their respective owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the minimum age to consent to the use of online services is higher where you live, to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may only buy tokens with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the purchase. You must also be able to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you, and you must have a Discord account in good standing.

3. Accounts and sign-in

4. Estimates, not guarantees

The results shown by the calculator are estimates generated by a model of the game’s movement physics. They are provided to help you plan a drop and are not guaranteed to be exact. Fortnite is updated regularly by Epic Games, and game updates, server conditions, latency, map changes, or differences between game modes can change the underlying physics at any time and make results inaccurate. You use the results at your own risk, and we do not promise any particular in-game outcome.

5. Tokens and purchases

5.1 What tokens are

Tokens are virtual credits used inside DropPilot. Currently, one calculation costs 1 token. Tokens are a limited, revocable licence to use features of the Service. They are not money, e-money, or property, and they have no cash value.

5.2 Getting tokens

Tokens can be purchased in packs on the Pricing page when payments are enabled, and may also be obtained through codes, gifts from other users, or promotions. The Service is planned to launch on 1 November 2026, and the first day may be free to try; the details of any free period may change. Prices, pack sizes, bonus amounts, and promotions can change at any time. A change in price will not affect a purchase you have already completed.

5.3 Payments

When payments are enabled, they are processed by third-party payment providers such as PayPal and/or Stripe. Their terms and privacy policies apply to the payment itself. We do not receive your full card number or payment credentials.

5.4 No refunds

Token purchases are non-refundable. You confirm this at checkout. Because tokens are digital content delivered to your account immediately, you agree that, where the law allows, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that your right to withdraw from the purchase ends once the tokens are delivered. Unused tokens cannot be redeemed for money. This section does not affect any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived or limited under the law that applies to you, or any remedy we owe you if tokens are not delivered or the Service is materially defective.

5.5 Transfers

Tokens cannot be sold, traded, or transferred outside DropPilot. The only permitted transfer is through the in-app “send tokens” feature, or by gifting tokens at checkout. Transfers are final.

5.6 Adjustments and removal

We may adjust, reverse, or remove tokens or token transactions, and may suspend related features, where we reasonably believe there has been abuse, fraud, chargeback or payment dispute, error, exploitation of a bug or of the token system, or a breach of these Terms, including when an account is banned. Tokens have no monetary value when an account is closed or banned for such reasons.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. DropMakers and dropmaps

DropMakers are community creators who may publish dropmaps (landing spots and related information) on the Service. DropMakers are responsible for the dropmaps and other content they publish, including making sure they have the right to publish it and that it is lawful and not misleading. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of any DropMaker content.

We may review, edit, hide, or remove any content, and may remove DropMaker status, at any time and for any reason, including for breach of these Terms, rights-holder complaints, or quality concerns. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] with enough detail for us to find and assess it.

8. Bans and appeals

Our staff may suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or its users. If your account is banned, you can appeal using the in-app “Appeal your ban” ticket. We will review appeals in good faith, but we are not obliged to reverse a decision, and we do not have to disclose security-sensitive details about it. Evading a ban (for example by creating a new account) is a breach of these Terms.

9. Third-party content and trademarks

The Service loads content from third parties, including map tiles and images provided by fortnite.gg, fonts from Google Fonts, and code libraries delivered from content delivery networks. Loading this content may send technical information such as your IP address to those providers, which are independent of us. Map images and in-game imagery belong to their respective owners (including Epic Games, Inc. and the creators of those maps); we do not claim ownership of them. The Service may stop working properly if third-party content becomes unavailable or changes.

10. Intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service. We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service, its design, and its branding, except for third-party material and content published by DropMakers. Portions of the calculation engine are derived from open-source software released under the GNU GPL v3; nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under that licence for that code. By publishing content on the Service, a DropMaker grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that calculation results will be accurate or lead to any in-game result. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or in-game progress, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for tokens in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) EUR 50. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for intentional misconduct, nor the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service (including features, prices, and token costs) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will tell you through a notice on the site, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Changes apply from the date stated in the notice (or, if none is stated, from when they are posted). If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept them, you should stop using the Service.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends and any remaining tokens are forfeited, without prejudice to any statutory rights you may have. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (including those on tokens, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION] will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live, and any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
